Facilities and capacity
The Maple Room is part of the hotel which may best suit your wedding day plans as it offers a dining experience for up to 130 people, plus it can be booked out for the rehearsal dinner. Let the Hancock House Hotel set-up, clean-up and host, giving you the chance to prepare. Its decor of wood and stone, as well as its refined creamy furniture and bright setting, lend a classy touch. The Club House at the French Woods Golf Course is also available for you to reserve for events. The Pavilion is also available if an outdoor location is more your style.

For that all-important rehersal dinner or reception banquet, you can savor a diverse menu of appetizers (wrapped asparagus, bacon wrapped scallops, spinach artichoke dip, brushetta, crispy shrimp wraps, ect.), a classic buffet (shrimp primavera, apple brandy chicken, fettuccine alfredo, beef tips, vegetarian lasagna, ect.) as well as or plated entrees of prime rib, broiled haddock with lemon butter, chicken marsala, ect.
History
Proprietors Lynn and Russell Bass have inherited a long history for the Hancock Hotel in the area. Although it is not the original building (the new foundations were laid a couple of miles east of it some 35 years after its predecessor was razed) the fact the name lives on is a testament to its importance.

The French Woods Golf Course clubhouse provides a quaint and more intimate wedding facility. The clubhouse has a full bar, restaurant, and an outdoor wrap around decking area for guests to enjoy the mountain views and sunset. The clubhouse dining area can seat up to 60 guests. For outdoor venues, The Pavilion provides great scenery, space, and a covered roof area. The Pavilion is a more casual and comfortable venue. With the option for BBQ’s, campfires, and a s’more station, guests can enjoy a classic country night under the stars as they celebrate. The Pavilion can seat around 100 guests under the covered roof and the possibility of more if lawn seating is chosen. The clubhouse also facilities a private dining room that can seat up to 40 people.
Accommodation
French Woods provide private lodges offering two floors of rustic wooden charm. Each lodge has an enormous full kitchen with all major appliances, a full dining room with satellite TV, air conditioning, a bathroom, and two full bedrooms with two square beds for extra guests. Each lodge has outside decking with a charcoal grill and a fire pit for outside bonfires. Guests can sit back and enjoy the mountain views and watch the birth of the Delaware River. French Woods also provides four mountain top lodges with breathtaking views of the Delaware River and Hancock village. These lodges comfortably sleep six guests and have the same facilities as the private lodges.
